Terms of use of the online store
The legislation of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that the owner of the online store must reserve the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such a reservation is called a distance contract (Cabinet of Ministers regulations).
Distance contract
The seller is the Limited Liability Company “EVI & JO”, registration number: 42103025250, legal address: Tirgus iela 10, Durbe, Durbes nov., LV-3440.
The buyer is a natural or legal person who purchases on durbesveltes.lv.
The Seller of the goods offered in this Online Store, on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand enter into the following Agreement: The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver goods to the Buyer.
Delivery and payment procedure
The buyer orders goods through this website, indicating the type and quantity of goods to be ordered. After confirming the order, the Seller prepares and sends to the Buyer by e-mail the corresponding invoice. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature. After receiving the invoice, the Buyer must transfer the amount indicated in the invoice to the specified account number, indicating the ID number of his order as the purpose of payment. The order is sent as soon as the Seller has received the money in his account.
How to make a purchase?
Step 1 – Select an item and click Add to Cart, which will automatically add it to your shopping cart.
Step 2 – Place your order. Go to the “Shopping Cart” section, carefully read all the information about the product you have chosen and fill in the required fields, as well as review the selected products and their quantity.
Step 3 – Confirm your order. The “Pasta stacija” delivery payment window will open, in which you must enter the necessary data so that we can contact you to inform about the delivery of the order.
Step 4 – Within one day, you will receive by e-mail an invoice for your order, which must be paid by transfer to the specified bank account.
Step 5 – After receiving the transfer, the Seller sends the ordered product (s) to the Buyer.
Terms of delivery
The product can be received via “Pastas stacija” terminals. The terminals are located in Riga and all major cities of Latvia (see the map of terminals). The fee for the shipment is 3.50 €.
Standard delivery is made within 3-5 working days from the moment of payment.
The maximum delivery time is 10 working days. The buyer is informed about the delay of standard delivery by individually contacting him by phone or e-mail.
Settlement currency
The settlement currency on the website durbesveltes.lv is the euro (EUR).
Payment procedure
After confirming the order, we will send an invoice to the specified e-mail address, which must be paid by making a transfer to the specified bank account, indicating the order ID number. After payment, your order will be shipped and you will be able to receive it within 3-5 working days.
Coupon Terms of Use
If the Buyer has a discount coupon with a code, then the Buyer can add a discount coupon code to the purchase by entering it in the special input field under the name “Coupon code”. Once the code has been entered, you must click the “Apply Coupon” button. The system will automatically recalculate the price with the added discount. The coupon code may not work if the product is already set to one of the discount options, for example, it is already a promotional product with a special price. Coupon codes are loyalty policy bonuses that each Buyer or group of Buyers can individually receive from the Seller. In some cases, discount coupon codes may also be published on social networking sites or other public space in order to promote sales.
The discount coupon, if available, is sent to the buyer by e-mail or delivered in another format, according to the contacts indicated by the buyer and / or the current promotions organized by “EVI & JO”.
Right of withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the Product within 14 calendar days from the moment of receipt of the Product by sending the Seller a letter of withdrawal. The Seller sends the withdrawal letter form to the Buyer by e-mail upon the Buyer’s request. The Buyer is obliged to return the goods to the Seller within 7 days after sending the letter of withdrawal. All expenses that will be incurred in connection with returning the goods to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer.
The buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:
- the ordered goods cannot be returned according to their nature or they are perishable or can be used quickly;
- the ordered goods are made directly to the Buyer by individual order.
Section 12, Paragraph six of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that “the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal”. The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer to exercise the right of withdrawal or withhold compensation in case of damage to the product, negligent handling of the product during use or failure to follow the instructions, if the original packaging is lost, or if the packaging is significantly damaged or for goods – open packaging.

Data processing
By entering the necessary information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he has read and agrees that the data provided by him/her is used so that the Seller can accept the Buyer’s order and deliver goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer’s order will be sent to the specified e-mail.
